2023 is shaping up to be a major year for game releases, with over 100 major video game releases and other anticipated titles, including highly anticipated RPGs and other popular games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel, Insomniac's Spider-Man 2, new installments in popular series like Final Fantasy and Street Fighter. The large number of delays in 2022 has contributed to the crowded release schedule for 2023, with games such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Forspoken, Hogwarts Legacy, Redfall, STALKER 2, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League originally planned for 2022 now releasing this year, this guide will keep you informed on all the latest developments. However, it is possible that some games currently scheduled for 2023 may also be delayed. Alan Wake 2

It is known that the game will be a third-person game and feature returning voice actors from the first game, but it has also been stated that knowledge of the first game is not necessary. The gameplay is expected to be similar to the first game, with the central mechanic of managing battery life in a flashlight and avoiding possessed enemies in well-lit areas. Assassin's Creed Mirage


Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next installment in the popular action-adventure series developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age, the game follows the character Basim Ibn Ishaq as he transforms from a street thief to a member of the Assassin Brotherhood. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including Microsoft Windows, and is set to release in 2023. Mirage aims to return to the roots of the Assassin's Creed series, with a focus on linear storytelling and stealth gameplay. Set in Baghdad, which is divided into four districts, the game also features Alamut, the stronghold of the Hidden Ones. The gameplay includes parkour, close-combat, and stealth elements, as well as the return of the "Black Box" assassination missions from previous games in the series. Players will have access to a variety of weapons and tools, including the iconic Hidden Blade and smoke bombs, as they control Basim on his journey to becoming a Hidden One under the guidance of his mentor, Roshan. Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, the game will be released in 2023 for different plateforms including Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 5 with Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna. In the game, players take on the role of a Na'vi and journey through the Western Frontier, a previously unexplored region of Pandora, while facing off against the RDA, who threaten the land. The game is a first-person experience and has been developed using the Snowdrop engine, specifically for the new generation of consoles and PC. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings the world of Pandora to life, including its unique creatures and characters, in an immersive open-world setting. This standalone story allows players to explore and interact with the living, reactive world of Pandora as they defend it from the RDA.


Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden


Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a new action-RPG from Focus Entertainment and Don't Nod. The game was announced at The Game Awards 2022 and follows the story of Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, a couple who are also ghost hunters. In 1695, they find themselves in the haunted wilderness of North America, searching for a way to save Antea, who has become a ghost herself after a disastrous mission. As Banishers, players can enter the lives of the communities in New Eden and solve supernatural cases in a world filled with mythical creatures and secrets. Players can use both combat skills and spiritual powers to defeat and banish haunted souls. The choices made throughout the game will impact the story and the fate of the characters, both living and dead. Players can switch between Antea and Red and unlock new abilities and gear as they progress through the game. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden offers a rich and immersive story with moral dilemmas and hidden mysteries to uncover.





Diablo IV


Diablo IV is the latest action role-playing game in the Diablo series, It will feature re-playable, procedurally generated dungeons, loot-focused character building, and new elements such as an open world and player versus player (PVP) interactions. There will be five playable classes in the game: Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, Rogue, and Necromancer, all of which have appeared in previous games in the series. In Diablo IV, players guide their character through quests and combat in the world of Sanctuary as Lilith, a banished character, returns to cause chaos. The gameplay of the series typically involves obtaining stronger equipment by defeating increasingly difficult enemies, using character class skills that can be customized with equipment and talent trees.
